Recorded Content Model Regional Training Conference
Congruent with the CNCS strategy to improve the programmatic quality and accountability of current and potential national service programs and projects, the Georgia Center for Nonprofits requests $49,988 to develop and deliver a recorded content model Regional Training Conference for the 10 state Southern Cluster. With this project, participants will demonstrate improvement in 1) knowledge /ability to measure and report on their specific National Performance Measure Outputs/Outcomes in the CNCS eGrants Performance Module and 2)knowledge of CNCS grants management requirements.
To achieve these objectives, a highly interactive conference will be delivered to a minimum of 50% of the directors of Americorps or Senior Corps sites at 10 locations/Site Events, one each state throughout the Southern cluster. Beginning with a Southern cluster planning committee, to ensure accessibility, affordability and content appropriateness for all participants and support marketing and logistics planning and execution, the conference will be delivered to each Site Event via a format combination of recorded lecture content and "live" consultant-facilitated content application.
Expert in performance management, financial management and grant reporting will customize the lecture content to participant needs at each Site Event using pre-assessments. Pre-assessment benchmarks will determine participant groupings and specific materials/resource inclusion and to evaluate gains in competencies. Lecture content will also be supplemented via interactive activities, templates, group discussion and coaching designed to provide immediate practical application of the content concepts. Conference content will be available online (other formats by request) in recorded format to participants and team members unable to attend site events.
The conference will be evaluated for core competency achievement using CNCS required methodology.
