Youth Employment and Education Study

Thank you for your interest in the Youth Employment and Education Study.

The Youth Employment and Education Study is being conducted by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), the federal agency that engages Americans in service through the AmeriCorps State and National programs, AmeriCorps Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA), and the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC). The study collects information from AmeriCorps members and other youth between the ages of 16 and 24. The longitudinal study collects survey data from selected AmeriCorps members and a comparison group of similar individuals at three points in time from Fall 2015 to Summer 2017. Participants are compensated with a $10 Visa gift card after completing the first two surveys, and a $20 gift card after completing the third survey.

Data for this study are being collected for CNCS by JBS International, a private research firm. If you need help or have any questions, please email JBS International at or call toll-free at 800-207-0750. They are available 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Pacific Time) Monday to Friday and are happy to help you!

Participation in the survey is voluntary, and JBS International is required to protect the privacy of all information collected, including the identity of respondents. In addition, the data provided by JBS International to CNCS will not contain any information that would identify participants.
